This program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Hospitality & Tourism career cluster. It prepares students for one of the fastest growing & most stable sectors of the economy through hands-on activities with a curriculum linked closely to math, social studies, science & economics. It contains a spacious kitchen facility with state of the art equipment and allows for dual enrollment opportunities with Daytona State College. While in this course, you can participate in state & national service & cooking competitions. The industry certification is endorsed by the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation (NRAEF) and it offers networking opportunities with local, state, and national industry leaders provide scholarship & career opportunities.
