Senior Reminders for the month of February! (Read Wednesday)
Senior Seminar #3 will be on Wednesday, February 22nd at 2pm in the media center. The topic will be on resume and essay writing. Bring your resume and/or essays!
It’s time to get your financial aid in place for college! Complete your application at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
If you haven’t completed your Bright Futures application, please see your counselor.
Get those volunteer hours in ASAP. A minimum of 75 hours are required for Bright Futures.(announce once/twice a week until February 22nd.)
If you are at least 17 and interested in a summer job as a lifeguard, check out the flyers posted around campus or come to the activities office for information.
Senior T-shirts are still available for purchase in the Activities office for $15.00.
Seniors: Grad Bash tickets are still available for $82.00 and are on sale in the activities office before and after school and during lunch until Feburary 29.
In conjunction with the FTC 2011-2012 Florida Championship…you are invited to the Robotics Association at Embry-Riddle Open House on Friday, February 17 from 5:00-10:00pm. Free pizza and softdrinks, and tours of the Embry-Riddle labs at Lehman Engineering Center Atrium. On Saturday, you can observe a Robotics Competition at the First Technical Challenge at Embry-Riddles ICI Center from 9:00am-5:00pm. See Mr. Hilburn for additional information.
Congratulations to the Science Olympiad team for placing 7th out of 27 teams this past Saturday at the Regional competition in Orlando. They will now advance to the state competition in March at UCF. Team members include: Emily Van Auken, Erika Wierzbicki, Jacob Davis, Emily Janssen, Matt Locurto, Franchescia Brooks, Michelle LaComb, Kelsey Justis, Nathan (Grasialotorae) Gracialatorre, Christina Wilson, Amanda Harrison, James Durrance and Zoe (martasevich) Martusewicz. And congratulations to Zoe and Michelle for placing 2nd in the Dynamic Planet category. Way to go Bucs!!
